How to play The Outsider
Everyone receives the same secret word — except The Outsider, who gets nothing (or a decoy). Players take turns giving one clue that proves they know the word without giving it away.
- Read your secret card privately.
- Each player gives one clue, in order.
- Discuss. Who sounded vague? Who overexplained?
- Vote in secret. Votes are revealed together.
- If The Outsider is caught, they get one final chance: guess the word.
Scoring
- Vote for the real outsider: +100
- Caught outsider misses the final guess: +40 to insiders
- Survive the vote as the outsider: +150
- Caught, but guess the word: +100
